Instructions for applying the EcoTherm thermal insulation coating
Before application, the substrate must be mechanically stable, free of loose or crumbling parts, clean and degreased, without dust, grease, or other contaminants, and free from mould and fungi. If mould is present, the surface must be treated in advance with appropriate remediation products. Only a properly prepared substrate ensures the full performance of the EcoTherm system.
Primer preparation
Shake well and pour the primer into an application container.
Application and drying
Apply the primer evenly over the entire wall surface using a roller and allow it to dry completely.
EcoTherm preparation
Before use, EcoTherm must be thoroughly mixed.
EcoTherm application
Apply EcoTherm evenly over the entire wall surface using a 4mm notched trowel.
Levelling the grooves
Immediately after application, level the grooves left by the notched trowel to achieve a uniform layer thickness.
Final surface levelling
Further smooth the entire surface using a smooth trowel until a flat, even structure is achieved.
Light edge sanding
After drying, lightly sand sharp edges and irregularities to obtain a perfectly smooth surface for the finishing coat.
Final layer application
Apply the final EcoTherm layer.
After applying the EcoTherm finishing coat and allowing it to dry completely, the surface is fully ready for further work, including the application of finishing paints or other decorative systems, in accordance with the desired aesthetic and technical requirements.
